This server uses:

    FreeBSD
    The OS for (Web) performance and stability!
    Till May 1999 I ran the Vance Archive on a 386DX/40 Mhz
    with 8Mb RAM and FreeBSD 2.1.0-RELEASE!
    Since then I upgraded it to a Intel Pentium/100 Mhz
    with 64 Mb and FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE!

    There were 2 main reasons for upgrading:
    1. It would take a lot of work upgrading
      ye old OS version on the old system
      (no 1.44Mb floppy, no CD-ROM drive,
      little diskspace)
    2. Making my own security patches is not
      what I (normally) call fun!

    Apache
    Currently I'm using Apache/2.4.63 (FreeBSD) PHP/8.1.31

    MiniSQL
    Since halfway 1996 I used mSQL 1.0.16
    Since May 1999 I'm running mSQL 2.0.9

    PHP4
    Since May 1999 our own good old scripting tool has
    been replaced by PHP 8.1.31
